The Aussie Dog Horse ball range is designed to keep boredom at bay or offer the ‘greedy steed’ a way to work a little harder for their feed. As the horse pushes the Horse Ball around with their nose, the feed or treats which you have loaded into the ball gradually trickle out therefore rewarding your horse for interacting with the ball. Ideal for horses which may be stabled to help stave off developing vices such as windsucking, weaving, pacing, wood chewing and other undesirable behaviour. The ball is made of extremely durable plastic and nylon and we at Best Mates have tested it with its toughest adversaries (including stallions!) whom have kicked it, stomped on it, trown it, bitten it and jumped on it and yet they are still going strong. Better still the Horse Ball has helped keep the ‘weighty’ horses moving by them having to chase their breakfast and dinner around the paddock.
The Horse Ball comes in two sizes, small and large, depending on the size of feed you want your horse to have. The small ball fits approximately 1.5kg of pellets in it and the large approximately up to 2.5kg of pellets.
